Grind or sand only the TShank
section of a Starrett BU38
blade. Remove paint on
flat sides only. TShank will now
be about .050" thick. Using a hobby blade about .020" thick, mark and grind to fit TShank. Total thickness is about .070". |
Improvement: Try trimming a .020" thick gapper from a garage sale or a larger version disposable blade. Etc. |

As noted on UTube Videos, the Starrett TShank series saw blades fit
the Leatherman Surge Saw Blade Adaptor but they are too loose.
These blades are too thin, so by using spacers, the
thickness can be increased.
These are not for sale by Bushman & are included here for general interest &
reference.
